Battery explosion-proof test chambers are usually used to test the safety performance of batteries, especially under extreme conditions, such as high temperature and high pressure. These test chambers usually simulate various extreme environments to ensure that batteries will not explode or fire in actual use. The test standards meet IEC 62133-2012, GB/T 31485-2015, GB 31241-2014, UN 38.3 (2012), etc.

Its Working Principle Usually Includes The Following Steps:

  1. Prepare the test environment:Set the temperature, pressure and other parameters of the test chamber according to the required test conditions. These parameters are usually determined based on relevant standards or test requirements.
  2. Place the battery sample:Place the battery sample to be tested into the test box. These battery samples may be newly developed battery products or samples used for quality control.
  3. Simulate extreme conditions:Start the test chamber to simulate the required extreme environmental conditions. This may include heating, pressurizing, or other specific environmental conditions to test the safety of the battery under these conditions.
  4. Monitoring and recording:During the test process, the status of the battery sample is monitored and relevant data is recorded, such as changes in parameters such as temperature, pressure, voltage, etc. These data can be used for subsequent analysis and evaluation.
  5. Safety handling:If an abnormal situation occurs during the test, such as the battery overheating, burning, etc., the test chamber will usually have safety measures, such as automatically shutting down or taking other measures to prevent the accident from expanding.
  6. Evaluation results:Based on test data and observation results, evaluate the safety performance of battery samples under different conditions to guide product improvement or the development of quality control measures.
